Meet Our Pastor
“FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS,” the Lord birthed the vision for this ministry in Pastor Barbara Cannon’s heart. It was through a calling from God to preach and minister to his people through the power of the Holy Spirit that this ministry was established.
The commission the Lord gave her for this ministry is Isaiah 61:1 which states, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.” The Lord has anointed this Pastor and ministry to share his love and to see lives changed.
Now we are at the threshold of entering this commission in greater measure as this ministry is experiencing a greater presence and power of the Lord in our services for healing and miracles. The Lord has called Pastor Barbara Cannon as a Prophet to the Nations. A few years ago as Pastor Barbara was praying the Lord showed her a vision of a waterfall flowing off of her open Bible. From that day forward, Pastor Barbara began to move in a prophetic anointing releasing prophetic words as she is preaching during her services and to the people during the altar call. The Lord pours out a blessing on everyone at His Freedom Reigns Christian Church through the prophetic anointing.
For the many years that Pastor Barbara has been serving in ministry, her husband, Mike, and family have also served with her in ministry.
